Marjolaine - Cuisine du Soleil

The place The 49 Rhône (formerly Bavaria since 1912), is a legendary Geneva address whose decor classified, we plunged into the atmosphere of the great breweries or trattorias of the early twentieth century. It is in this majestic setting, adorned with old posters, oak paneling and high ceilings, that Philippe Chevrier wanted to revive the restaurant by infusing it with Mediterranean cuisine. The subtle aromas of marjoram bring us to the Mediterranean and bring back memories of summer holidays. Lover of Italian cuisine and inspired by southern flavors, Philippe Chevrier is still a new challenge. In the kitchen, Francesco Tedesco, former owner of L'Osteria del Conte Verde in Turin and then chef at Via Roma in Carouge, now shares his generous specialties on the Rue du Rhône. He is particularly fond of Mediterranean fish, marjoram and excels in the production of pasta. All our dishes are available for delivery thanks to Smood.
